Renew your sense of well being with the nurturing touch of our therapists. Inspired by various plant based healing traditions from around the world, Aveda’s philosophy is grounded in the belief that everything in the universe (including skin and body) is composed of 5 elements: infinity, air, fire, water and earth. When environmental and emotional factors such as stress, imbalance or toxicity cause these elements to shift out of balance, this can affect our skin, body and emotions. Aveda believes in holistically restoring balance to the five elements, by engaging all five senses through our pure aromas, plant based products, nurturing treatments and unique sensory experiences.

If you provide your email address upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email from us with an online consultation form. Please fill this in prior to arriving at the salon, however if this isn't received please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to complete our record card, this is for new and exisitng clients.

Each treatment includes time for a consultation. This will allow your therapist to customise your experience, enabling them to target your specific needs.

We have two levels of therapists available, higher prices relate to our senior therapists.

After your treatment you will be left to ‘come to’ on day beds in our relaxation area or weather permitting, our private garden.

We recommend a blow dry after a spa service to finish your visit feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of the day (there are plenty of wonderful cafe's and restaurants in Rye to wander to after visiting us!)

Booking & Cancellation Policy – Card details will be required to secure any booking (please note that no money will be taken unless you fail to attend your appointment or you cancel your appointment within the terms set out below), a 50% deposit will be taken for any appointment duration over 3 hours, over £250 value, groups of 2 or more bookings, wedding bookings and any appointments on a Sunday.

If an appointment is cancelled OR amended with less than 48 hours notice then a 50% fee will be charged, if less than 24 hours notice or you fail to attend an appointment then 100% of the service/s will be charged.

By booking an appointment at The Rye Retreat you automatically agree to adhere to this booking and cancellation policy.
